7-Day Atlantic Canada Tour 2025: Our Journey to the Maritimes
From August 30 to September 5, 2025, we organized a group to one of the best bus tours to East Coast Canada from Toronto. For seven days, we explored Quebec City, the Maritimes, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, and Mont-Tremblant.
It wasn't just a trip - it was one of those unforgettable bus trips to East Coast from Toronto where every day gave us something to talk about: history, scenery, food, and memories with fellow travelers.
Day 1: Toronto to Ottawa to Old Quebec City
We started early in Toronto with two pick-up points, then headed for Ottawa. Our short stop at Parliament Hill gave us photos, though it was under construction.
By evening, we reached Old Quebec City. Our hotel, Clarendon, was right in the center of the old town. From there, we explored Château Frontenac, Notre Dame Basilica, and Petit Champlain. Walking the cobblestone streets at night made the start of our bus tours from Toronto to the Maritimes feel magical.
Day 2: Quebec City to Grand Falls, Hartland Bridge, and Fredericton
Breakfast was quick and simple since our Quebec hotel didn't include it. At Grand Falls, we noticed the water flow wasn't as strong as in past years. Still, the stop gave us time to reflect on the changing scenery.
We added Potato World to the plan, where we learned about the region's farming history. By night, we were in Fredericton, ready for the next leg of our bus tours from Toronto to Nova Scotia.
Day 3: Fredericton to Peggy's Cove and Halifax
The drive to Nova Scotia was long but worth it. Peggy's Cove was alive with buses and cruise ship travelers, so the atmosphere was busy. Still, the lighthouse and coastal views impressed everyone.
After lunch, we reached Halifax, staying at Cambridge Suites near the Citadel and waterfront. Though we arrived late and missed the Citadel's opening hours, the city's charm reminded us why bus tours from Toronto to Nova Scotia are so rewarding.
Day 4: Halifax to Prince Edward Island to Moncton
This was one of the highlights - and also one of the most critical days. We had to catch the 10 a.m. ferry to PEI. Thanks to everyone's cooperation, we made it in time.
In Charlottetown, lunch at a Chinese buffet slowed us down, but afterward we still visited St. Dunstan's Basilica, Green Gables, and Cavendish Cliffs. The Confederation Bridge crossing at sunset was a sight to remember.
This is why people love bus tours to PEI from Toronto - it combines history, scenery, and that special island feel.
Day 5: Moncton to Magnetic Hill, Shediac, Hopewell Rocks, and Edmundston
After a short stop at Magnetic Hill, we went to Shediac to see the Giant Lobster and enjoy another seafood lunch. Some of us even tried Filipino food nearby.
Then came the highlight: Hopewell Rocks. We arrived just as the tide was low, letting us walk on the ocean floor. This unique stop is one of the reasons our bus trips to East Coast from Toronto stand out.
Day 6: Edmundston to Mont-Tremblant
This was a day mostly for driving. We skipped extra stops to give everyone more time in Mont-Tremblant.
When we arrived, many of us went straight for the free gondola ride. The mountain views were stunning, and the Residence Inn's central location let us enjoy the lively village atmosphere.
Day 7: Mont-Tremblant to Montreal, Kingston, The Big Apple, and Toronto
Our last day began with a stop at St. Joseph's Oratory in Montreal. We then picked up Filipino meals to go, eating them on the bus.
Quick stops in Kingston and The Big Apple gave us time for photos, shopping, and snacks before returning home to Toronto.
Reflections
Looking back, this trip showed why bus tours from Toronto to the Maritimes remain such a great choice for travelers. The charm of Old Quebec, the busy but beautiful Peggy's Cove, the ferry to PEI, the tides at Hopewell Rocks, and the peaceful beauty of Mont-Tremblant gave us a complete picture of Eastern Canada.
It wasn't just about destinations - it was about sharing the road, meals, and laughter. By the end, we knew this was one of the best bus tours to East Coast Canada from Toronto - and an experience worth remembering.
